Different results between time and quality of time

Time is not something to count and it's rather a continuous flow, with no beginning and no end.

Many times we talk about time thinking of it as a finite matter, water in a can that soon or later may get depleted.

Still, life is not just a matter of length but a matter of intensity and moments that keep our breathe on hold, making us losing the time perception for some periods.

There can be many different aspects making us losing track of time: some punctual events like a moment of huge love, big astonishment and sometimes, good food as well!

Time is subjective and subject to different interpretations: if you are doing something boring, repetitive time may seem being far longer and expanded (in a wrong way) while in other occasions while having nice and funny moments it may seem much faster.

It’s not actually time that is changing. It’s our perception.
And I want to make you wonder on one thing:

what if time for nice things would last like for the boring ones?
It’s just a matter of deep awareness and consciousness. I directly experienced it in the last weeks where I had some great moments during the Yoga Teacher Training Camp I attended, and I acknowledged that keeping a deep mind presence in the moment, time was not rushing so fast!

Keeping awareness it’s not a matter of staying attached to the watch every time seeing the time flowing. That cannot be considered a “good moment”.

By saying awareness I refer to be present in the hic et nunc like latins were used to say.

Sometime, our mind overflow the consciousness (that is at a higher level than mind) and therefore we do not get the perception of the time flowing as we are simply too much involved or flowing in the flow with no control on it.

Being mindly firm can be much interesting, especially when we have some nice and enjoyable moments to stay within as this represents a nice training for self-awareness, becoming more aware of what’s going on also on ourselves and not simply around us.

That’s when, time becomes a sort of constant variable in our life. Being constant (as it’s always there) and a variable (as it changes according our perception).

Furthermore, staying much present in our activities is a great tool to do at our best whatever we are currently doing, taking more care of people, taking more care of what they really care about and more onwards.

Consciousness, often also referred as the fourth Kosha in the traditional perspective, represents an amazing level to aim to to become more aware in everyday tasks as well!
