How to Become a Creative Geniuse

in life •  2 years ago

Creative Geniuses are both rebellious and traditional, passionate and objective. They are both emotionally suffering and enjoying pain, and they draw energy from all sides. Creative geniuses are always at risk of humiliation. This is not to say that they don't know how to take criticism or praise.

Insufferable Genius always runs the risk of humiliation
An Insufferable Genius is someone whose inflated ego compensates for his/her perceived shortcomings. Such a person can also be delusional. They may view their poor reputation as a proof that they are right and therefore need not worry about the opinions of weak people.

The Insufferable Genius is a character who insults other people and enjoys flaunting his/her superiority. This person is a prime example of this trope, and can be found in both the Discworld series and Soul Music. In both stories, the protagonist is a teenager with a high level of intelligence. Although he/she is raised in cold-hearted rationalism, he/she has a strong sense of the true nature of things due to his/her supernatural heritage.

Creative Geniuses enjoy the process of creation for its own sake
Creative geniuses often strike a balance between discipline and playfulness. They are proud of their accomplishments while remaining humble about them. They do not force themselves to be creative, but instead enjoy the process of creation for its own sake.

Creative geniuses understand that failure is inevitable and that it can lead to innovative solutions. Most people are afraid of risk and are not willing to try new things, but creative geniuses understand the value of failure and focus on learning from mistakes.

They speak about themselves in the third person
Many creative geniuses have traits of both humility and self-assertion. While they may be competitive sometimes, they are also very collaborative. They may even be aggressive at times. They are selfless one moment and selfish the next.

Creative geniuses are usually very intelligent, although this does not necessarily mean they have a high IQ. They also know their limitations and know that they are naive in many fields. This helps them retain a childlike curiosity and openness to new experiences.

They combine playfulness and productivity
To become a Creative Geniuse, you have to combine playfulness with productivity. Often, playfulness involves humour and cooperation with other people. This, in turn, encourages a higher level of creativity. The next part of the formula is discipline. While playfulness is a necessary part of productivity, it doesn't go far without a strong dose of responsibility. That's why creative people are often more able to stay up all night working on their projects than the average person.

While it is difficult to predict which factors contribute to creativity, there are several research studies that indicate that a combination of playfulness and productivity is a key to achieving peak creativity. A study that examined the relationship between playfulness and creativity found that individuals who were more playful were more likely to produce more innovative ideas than others. Interestingly, playfulness was positively related to higher levels of creativity, particularly in math.
