My Neighbour

I live in a community. The community is very social. My neighbors and I often get along after work in the evening. We do not do a lot of things. We often have some coffee, cigarette and talk about a lot of things. We sometimes play cards too.

We talk about some issues about our environment. The clogged sewage system will be finished here in the informal forum. We also talk about how to make some lighting on the street.

We have different professions and income. However, we can get along together and help each other. We respect all the profession no matter the salary is. We appreciate manly manner. A man should go to work.

In every meeting , coffee is available. One of us will be voluntarily take out some small money to buy sachets coffee, then another man will cook water. Then, we drink hot coffee with plastic glasses.

In a certain moment, we have meal together. All members of the family get out of the houses and sit on the street in front of our area. The street in front of my house is closed so there are only dwellers who pass by.

This event was held to celebrate new year. we pool money to buy food. All children will join the small party. They will enjoy the situation. They can play out after having dinner together. The small party is often held on holidays so all people can join. There are about 15 families in my community. Togetherness becomes our characteristic in socializing.
