Today was 17 of August. All children were happy this day because there were a lot of games and prizes. Some children were playing unique games.
A few days ago, the leader of the community announced that our neighborhood would hold some games and event to celebrate indepence day. All children were encourage to participate the games and activities.
All children would be given snacks to participate. The winner of the games would earned some prizes. The snacks and the prizes motivated all children ti join some games based on the ages.
My son with his friends joined some game. Then, he went home and said " Dad, I failed in a game" Then I said" It is ok, it is just a game, you do not have to win the game but you are brave enough to compete".
Then, my son got out after his best friend called him. Participating in the games needed courage. The condition would teach all children to do problem solving.
My son's hobby is soccer. In the Independence competition, he was not selected by the team officials. However, he always trained soccer in a club in his school. He wanted to be selected in the Independence day next competition.
Here, soccer is very popular sport but there are no Indonesian players who play in Europe. I think it is a matter of management of soccer in Indonesia.
Children who had great talent in young age, they will turn to be a school boy after their parents give negative life of an athlete. An athlete will be poor after he does not join a competition. A classic problem, some athletes have no job or income after they do not join an athlete management.
