A Day At The Office

Today is my office day. Our set up is actually hybrid, requiring us to be in the office for at least once a week. I went to the office thrice this week because we have our training.

I was surprise to see a pomelo fruit in my locker. As it turned out, my colleague, who visited their province last week, brought us pasalubong (souvenirs present). I ate my share as my snack that morning.

The day went on in a usual manner. We did some paper works, follow up clients and attend some meetings, in addition to our half day training. These are a few things we do in the office.

During afternoon snack time, we had pizza from S&R and Selecta ice cream in different flavors, care of one of our assistant manager whose birthday happened to be today. We sang happy birthday and ate a lot of snack

Our office hours start at 9 AM and ends At 6 PM but most of the time we render overtime, like any other corporate job. Whenever I'm in the office, i like to find a seat that is facing the window so i could see the beautiful sunset in the late afternoon. There's something about the little things like the sunset that makes me calm so i always look forward to it every afternoon.

We ended the day by walking to Ayala malls, since its only walking distance from our office.

This week, i learned how to be grateful to the people around me, especially to my colleagues while we're still seeing each other. Change is constant and time will come when we will all part ways. So i cherish every moments i have with them.
