During my job search I was able to find some stores that are looking for workers but it hasn't been easy. I've got a few interviews lined up as I wait for my background check to clear for a fast food joint. On Wednesday, I should get a confirmation on what comes next.
I'm pretty hopeful that everything will be good and if that is the case, I'm going to feel ecstatic! Until then I cannot stop looking for work!
I also returned back home with my sister. Given the lack of available cheap housing, I thought it best to come back and continue my job search. I thought it would be easier given my experience but it turns out lots of options that I did have aren't in the city anymore. Oh well. Let's hope for better days ahead.
