The Real Test Of True Friends.

We all have our down moments in life and when this happens there are people to support us. But most of the time the reason we still stay down after our challenging moments is because we never had true friends they were all passengers.

I have decided to develop a habit of testing the people called friends in my life. The test is to detect who is truly my friend and the ones that are fake.

Sometimes I just decide to stress my friends by just pretending I'm broke and asking for urgent financial help from them. Or I just pretend to be sick and see who checks up on me often.

Many friends failed this test, most usually show less concerned and they come up with different excuses, but you can also know the ones that are genuine because they are people who are close to you. Some will hardly pickup your calls when they discover you are in need of help from them.

I do this not just for the fun of it, I'm just preparing myself and getting to know who will truly be by my side when my downfall eventually comes.

We are not praying for downfall, but it will eventually come because it is also part of life, at least once in a while you will experience a down moment. But the big problem is when you experience a downfall you need friends to pick you up and support your way up.

It is more painful to discover you had fake friends around you when you are already down, that is why you must test them to see who is really worth your time and friendship.

When you have fake friends around you, it is like watering a dead plant, they will easily leave you when problems and adversary comes.

You need real friends that would not hesitate to hold your hand when you are about to fall. If you don't have supportive friends, you will stay down for long when you eventually fall.
