Enough of The Acting, Who are You?

Some of us are still in the bondage of not performing to our full potential because we are living according to who we are told to be, not who we truly are.

You need to be who you are truly are, not who someone told you to be. While we were younger our parents will decide everything for us, even to the point of telling us what we would study in school. Some of us wanted to become a musician, but because of our parents we ended up as an accountant.

Yes it is right to obey your parents because they are the ones who took good care of you, but after you are done pleasing the and you are now out of their control, you should not no longer limit yourself to what they wanted you to be which was against your decision.

You cannot remain an actor and be playing the role your parents gave to you all the days of your life, you have to bring up your real self. Most of the time your parent's will force you to do what they failed. Maybe they wanted to become a lawyer but they failed, they would want you to follow the same path so you can correct their mistake and failures, then at the end all they ever wanted was satisfaction of what they could not achieve by themselves, and they want to get it through you.

You are grown up now, live your life and not that of others if not you will still want to force your failures on your future children. What is the dream you wanted to chase, start pursuing it now.

You have only one life to live, make good use it by fulfilling your purpose here on earth. Instead of living all the days of your life struggling to fulfill the purpose of another person, focus on yours and be the change so that your future generations won't keep suffering.

There is no time, chase your dreams now and leave the nightmares of others.
