A Genuine Advice Is Worth Listening To.

Is it right to judge people by experience or personality before we take advice from them?

When people come to advise us, we usually want to verify their identity or personality, to confirm if the person is worth listening to. I also do this also, there are some persons that I would say to myself "I would never take advise from this sets of people, no matter what they have to say".

Even though it is good to check if the person giving you the advice is experienced and worth listening to, we should not base everything on the persons identity.

If your friend decided to give you a sincere advice, do not make them feel as if they are not worth listening to. If the advice is on finance, do not ask them if they are financially stable yet to talk to you.

A coach does not need to be in the pitch before he can tell his players what to do. A doctor does not need to have a disease before he can know the cure for the disease.

Most people around you would want to counsel you out of love, not because they are more competent or advanced than you. Before people would want to counsel you on something, they might have struggled in that area, even though they do not make it, they have learned their lesson and can share some of the experience to others.

Whenever a friend decides to advise you, don't be quick to ignore them, don't judge them, listen critically with love and try to get the wisdom behind what he or she is saying. The important thing is the content of the advise itself and not the person giving it. most time it would not come from the right person, but it is still worth listening to if you care.

Advice they say is never a curse, don't be quick to take offense when someone decides to offer it to you.
