Feeling so motivated and setting those goals can be satisfying and fulfilling I must say. Telling yourself, "it is a new year, new chapter...I am going to take a different approach this time". Just when you decide that path you begin to discover that, "yeah okay, I think I need to adjust my list of goals a little bit"...well depending on what comes.
I would so love to make a list of things...work towards it and watch things play out but then again I get discouraged because I remember I didn't finish half of what I planned last year.
So what do I do?
Should I give up planning because it may not be achieved?
Should I just do anything that comes to mind then hope and pray that things fall in place?
I guess life has always been like this...unpredictable, so worrying won't do any good. Planning is great, then taking it each day at a time at your own pace may actually be the best.
Life imposes things on you that you can’t control, but you still have the choice of how you’re going to live through this. — Celine Dion
Life is never full of roses but then there are "Roses". Whether you choose to plan or not, the decisions or choices we make would make for that unpredictable tomorrow.
Not sure yet, but planning and setting out goals still proofs to be the best when you are looking to achieve something. Maybe for the first half of the year....time will tell.
There are tons of things to explore, oh how I wish I have the ability to see into the future...then maybe...just maybe. In the meantime we do what we can and hope for the best....

I have read that many good things in life were never planned, well, making a detailed plan may not be easy, nor is it sometimes very useful in the face of changes, but having at least a list of desiderata does the function of what which would be the statement of 'Mission and Vision' of a company or company, it is like marking a point on the horizon and moving forward, you know that it is a reference and that it will take you where you want to go, it may be like the trip to Ithaca in the Odyssey and makes you live epic adventures that take time, but you know that no matter how much you go astray, there is always a destination you long to reach.
You are right...knowing fully well you are headed for a certain destination helps navigate through whatever may come. Your description measured it pretty well...thanks for your comment. 😊
You're Welcome!
