There is no such thing as luck

Luck is overrated. I've made a ton of money, but most of the things I've gotten lucky with are also things I've done a lot of work for. So, let me break down exactly how I did it: How to Win Big When Everything Lines Up (But You're Really Playing by the Rules)

There's no such thing as luck. It's the rules that matter, not the outcome. What's interesting about the "rules" we're all playing by is that they're usually obvious and simple. It's our interpretation that makes them tricky.

So, what's so special about the rules? What can you do to leverage them? And how can you apply this principle to your own life? Let me answer all of those questions and more in the following video:

STEP 1: Choose Your Rules

The first step is understanding the rules. What's so important about those rules? They don't have to be complicated. Think about sports. You only need two rules for baseball:

Run towards the ball

Throw the ball towards the pitcher

What if the batter hit a home run? He's still hitting towards the ball. What if he was throwing the ball towards the pitcher? It would still be thrown towards the pitcher. This seems so basic, but once you understand the rules you can start applying them in almost every scenario.

In the same way, there are two fundamental rules for life. You should:

Choose your path

Prepare for success

Let's look at how each of these rules can be applied to everything we do.

Choosing Your Path

So, your first step is choosing your path. In every situation, there is only one correct course of action. This sounds obvious, but it's easy to think about decisions from the wrong perspective.

Many times, we're looking for an "easy way out". We're trying to find something that will guarantee us good results without making too much effort.

As soon as we try to look for an "easy way out", we immediately lose the motivation required to make progress.

The good news is that, even though there's never an easy way, you always have an option. This option is always there for you to use.

So, the question is, where do you want to go? Do you want to make money online? Or are you more interested in becoming famous?

The choice is yours, but you have to commit. There's no other way.

Now, this might not seem like such a big deal, but it really isn't. Why? Because most people aren't committed. Most people don't have a clear goal in mind. Instead, they try to follow all the different paths and see which one leads them to where they want to be.

What happens when they choose a "wrong" path? Well, I'm glad you asked...

It's common to hear people saying they have no idea why they are failing. When you fail, you may not know what
