I left my wife yesterday - Again lol.

It is nothing new.

We all get to that stage where we have had enough of someone, and I am at that stage with my wife, it happens yearly too, but I/we are lucky enough to have 2 places to live, so I am at the farm and she is a few miles away at our apartment.
She seems to think the farm somehow and by a miracle works all by itself, self cutting grass, self repairing everything, but I think the same about the apartment, I can make as much mess as I want, go out, go back and voila, the washing up is done, clothes are clean and it is even polished lol.

I have been quiet for a day and will be for a few more. I tend to drink and smoke more when on my own, I turn into a Jack Sparrow, but I only amuse me, so I stay away from online; this is a sober moment, so I popped in, but I dare say by the PM, I shall be thoroughly lubricated after I finish planting seeds and painting a motorbike frame.

Lovely day today, windy, but even the wind is warm, it is rushing through my farm, like a free heating system, got to love a bit of nature, and a bit of peace and quiet.

I get almost £11,000 from my pension next week, might bugger off to Thailand or Bali for a month, who knows, I will see what the insane rules are now. If I decide on Thailand, it would be nice to hook up with some of my online Thai friends, @lucylin, @rycharde and respective family members.

I may bring my family and I also may not, who knows, to be decided.

So if I am quiet for a few days, I am busy, legal forms, documentation, solicitors, bikes and more.
If I fail to vote or read your post, you have to comprehend my internet is not broadband here, I am using it on the fly, for free, like I do with electric, water etc.
OFFGRID for real!!!!!

Have a superb sunshine filled day ahead, peace, and out.

Oh my gosh!!!😂 The title got me.

Nice to have space at times, a must I think, under current circumstances, with the world going insane.

A time of solitude,
A time for meditation and contemplation.
Basically a solo time is important every once in awhile.

oh , shiiiiiiiiiit ...lol

lol. "Falang infects local cockroaches with omfg-variant!"

LOL how do you know about the cockroaches part lol, I called my private pension providers that yesterday to my solicitor, he repeated it, but they are no better, ticks/tiks is more like it, sucking the life out of us.

You'd be welcome here but... not sure you'll like the place now.
Pension - what's that? lmao.

Has it changed that much? I did witness Pattaya change rapidly, I liked it more the way it was, bars in dirt, side of the road, then everything went bigger, supposedly better, concrete this, concrete that, high rise, investment, not my cup of tea, like Singapore, not my idea of fun, simple is better, I offered the wife a month in Bali, she said no, so guess this next trip will be solo, and then I will get the guilt trip after, even though I offered, such is life hey.

Haven't been in ages - from photos looks like Hua Hin now. One reason I stayed here was the vague incompetence, amusing corruption - felt very much like Sicily - but when it started getting serious started to feel like almost-Burma. If I was making the same decisions then, as now, I wouldn't have stayed. Prob to Chile or Argentina - language much easier too.

Like, I can accept living in a sheep farm, but it really sucks when the shepherd turns up.

Nout wrong with a farm bro, if you own it :-)

Maybe it needed to go through a cycle like it has, I left when I did not like it anymore, the police were corrupt, every authority figure was, like I said about Kenny Reese and his 1.5 million Baht fine for daring to sell on eBay. That did me, I was off then, if they do not want me, I do not want them, Bali it is then.

Especially if u have any kinda biz! Then it's hell. I still have almost nothing in my name.

The comparison with Sicily was not frivolous - been there, great place, but living there!! I asked some profs I got to know - they said was not fun - pay govscum then pay mafiascum too (same people, sometimes), nothing works without some extra kickback... sound familiar!?
What was funny, we met the mayor of Palermo, at one of his residences - maybe he chose it for effect - riddled with bullet holes - he must have had a dozen fully armed guards - don't think we looked all that dangerous! Mind you, even the univ campus had armed guards patrolling.

"Falang tries to open a 2 stroke engine, fetish club...."

"2 stroke" does sound like an entertainment club.

Me no speaky english very good......

Bali rocks, you just make it up there by the day, it is like Pattaya used to be, minus whores, it rocks man, but if needed they have a cafe where girls sit and drink your drink, scantily clad, but you can only look, not touch, their rules not mine.

I spent 2 months there, back in ....er.....2000 -ish...no...96 ish ...Was ok, but not my fave place to chill (few weeks in kuta then traveled to ...wherever...I can't remember now)....Indonesia food not my fave.

Thank you.

Oh dear. It doesn't take much from you men to keep us women happy. It's called appreciation. Have you shown her some love and affection? Don't blow it.

Oh shit you have no idea, her own family are ripping themselves apart, I want no part of it, I just want to farm, get that feminist out your head.

Oh that wasn't a feminist talking it was more relationship guru learning from my past. A feminist wouldn't need your love or attention. She would want you to iron your own shirts. Sorry I shouldn't give advise when I know nothing of the circumstances, only my perception.
Hope it's not terminal. Take care.

I can iron no problem, I do iron, I do farm, I do build bikes, barns, doors, farms, motorbikes, I just draw the line at giving needless compliments when I see people destroying their own family and everything worked for, yes, let us leave it at that, saves the pain.

At risk of making you balk - hug incoming

Hug accepted, thank you.

Balk or bark, that is the question, hug gladly accepted, sending one in return from my heart.

By the way, it works both ways.

It gets boring listening to a victimhood personality, no excuses while I check out for a while.

Sounds like you got a nice set up there. I spent a bit of time away from the Jugnle Girl today. Got myself a nice Thai Massage and she spent some extra time on Blurt! They made things easier for the unvaxed to enter Thailand, just a PCR test and 10k insurance, vaxed don't have to take a PCR test cause everyone knows they can't get or spread it. 😜

Here is the you tube channel you may want to follow for on the latest on-goings and travel rule changes here in Thailand.

https://www.youtube.com/c/TheThaiger

Now immediately take half of that pension and pile into Blurt! hahaha

Oh feck me, virus germ theory scams, think it may be Bali then.

I have not checked the rules with Bali. They dropped all the BS?

Unsure they ever even played along with the alleged flu, seems easy enough to fly there, the last time I went I left some cash on top of my passport, and was made a VIP and skipped the queue, got to love a little bribery and corruption when it works well lol.

There is nothing like cruising the streets of Bali and you come into a Foreigner only police stop! Literally depending on your skin color they pulled you to the side of the road. @junglegirl who's Thai would have slipped by no problem. lol

I joined about 10 others in rotation as foreigners were pulled off the road. Usually they go with driving without an international license which most foreigners do not have, then you get to stand on the side of the road and negotiate a fifty dollar bribe down to five bucks if you're cheap like me! lol

I never got that treatment there, I rode on the path too in heavy traffic, all the locals followed too, you managed to find trouble lol, I never found. I even got a free massage day 1, and a free moped to ride, but stayed away from tourist hotspots till the last day, a guy from New Zealand wanted to go into town, it was full of Australians wanting to fight each other, not my cup of tea.

Hi @world-travel-pro do you still need the Thai Travel Pass to enter the country. My son is coming over next month.

I think so. You can double check with thaiger.com or thaiger news youtube for the latest info. They are really good. google search should bring them up quick.

The Thai Pass and the 10k US insurance still applies the government is having a meeting on the 20th of May to decide whether to scrape them both.

That would be huge. Hope they get rid of it.

Don't forget I am here in Thailand also @ajerkoff if you want to hook up for a beer 👍
