A change of perspective

I was shaking when I wrote yesterday.

It was 3 days ago that my legs felt somehow oddly weaker. Yesterday I set off to feed the cats and only made it to the car and had to go back and lie down, I felt drunk without a beer, well my legs did.

And then vomiting started. All day without a break, my entire body was shutting down bit by bit. I had violent muscle tremors when even trying to move a limb.
Attempting to pick a small cup of tea up ended it in almost all over me, boiling hot and all.
And even when I managed to drink the tea I was already safe in the knowledge I would be seeing it come out in reverse.

I had very little sleep last night, filled with anxiety, fear, feeling futile even attempting to stand.
My stomach is still closed for business as usual even today.
I nearly collapsed just standing up to go to the toilet to empty the last of my acid it felt like urine. Now I know what cystitis feels like.

And that brings me to my title "A change of perspective."

When your body is shutting down, the only thing in the world is your health, thoughts about anything else subside.
Gone are the thoughts about the WEF, Gates and their crony government ministers.
Gone is caring about anything other than "will I ever eat again"....

I still have no answer to that question, but am managing to keep down some Cola and water today, so fears of death by dehydration have gone, unless I start vomiting again.

I look outside the window and see clear blue skies, sunshine and know I am too weak to even go onto the balcony without a chance of falling off it, such is the sudden lack of power in my muscles.
Having had food poising many times in Thailand I can liken it to that, but not the muscles part.
I know my body well, as each of us do our own, and I have not done anything different to that of the last 8 years, so this illness has me mystified.

I can forget a trip to Bali now or Thailand. My only concern right now is feeling well again, and as I type my stomach and intestines seem to be having a "who can make the most instant pain for fun then bugger off after. I call it a draw, if it stops both. 😂

I am trying my best to be in good spirits for my wife and daughter.

So if you never here from me again, you know why. I would like to ask one of my long-term friends of here and back as far as steemit, could I entrust you with via email - me to send you the keys to my accounts, my wallets and possibly my exchanges and if I do not make it, would you help my wife with understanding how to exchange it for Fiat please?

If it to be my end, my final goodbye, know this, I have no regrets and will take it with ease, I would not change a thing, and we are all born to die, it is the only thing certain in life.

Make the most of every day while you can, and always take a smile where ever you go, you never know when that smile will save a lonely person from suicide due to that loneliness.

Have a great day, I shall try.

Hang in there m8 ,.. remember what Tracy wrote , it's only poison that makes one sick ,. get a good detox have a good rest and gain back your strength .
And what better way to cure is there , then to change your environment for a while , get to Bali , visit Thailand ,.. get yourself together again .

Who am I, what and why?
'Cause all I have left
Is my memories of yesterday
Oh, these sour times

;-) ,.. may you heal well today .

Oh, i love that tune. . .

Cheers brother, love the tune.

Was not expecting to read such a thing. Hope you get better soon.

Cheers brother, had a visit from a homeopath, she gave me a saline drip as she is still a registered doctor, felt much better instantly.

Good to hear. Do what you've got to do and stay strong, stay positive....you'll pull through, I'm sure of it!

Almost there, thanks brother.

Hope you bounce back and feel better soon mate.

Cheers long time friend.

Sending love darling.
Wont start digging that hole just yet. . .trust you'll recover quickly 💗
(Get some electrolytes. . .coconut water if you can)

Cheers sister, not enough strength to lift a cup let alone dig a hole 😜

I used up all the electrolytes I had yesterday and they all came back out anyway.
Unsure if I can get coconut oil but shall ask my daughter to look.

Dont underestimate the power of hole digging. . .might be just what you need 😉
(Prescribed by nurse Petra)

@ajerkoff grave digging! What a fantastic idea. Dig a hole.

@petrapurple joking aside lol, what do yoy mean by hole diging?

Well at first Ive reffered to digging a hole for a grave, but then this olf fart made it sound Ive referred to something else. . .so I guess that may be the remedy then, hence my prescription to him, lol.

Ol Fart, oi I resemble that remark, how very dare you.

shit, mate! erm... any blood in the puke? Do you know how to insert a needle for a drip? If not, anybody else who can do that without walking into a hospital? My kid had something similar, and electrolyte+glucose drip meant her body healed itself without any meds at all - but had to bypass the puking.
Take care.

You're sharing my life stories, leave some for me to post about! I hope you get well soon @ajerkoff.

Little writing prompts ;-)

Thank you kindly.

Cheers brother, got a ex doctor turned homeopath coming tomorrow to do just that if I am no better in the morning, she is bringing alternative meds too.

No blood, nope not yet.

OK, good :-)

Worst food poisoning I ever had in Thailand gave me neuropathy down one leg - was walking like Keyser Soze - but did heal slowly. But as you know, here is hot and humid and electrolyte depletion can pull that shit.

mmm... long shot - tho worked for my cat, and my kid after the drip - probiotics :-) I wouldn't take one of those huge pills, just open one up and take a dab, see if it stays down. Good luck!

Had the homeopath visit, she is still a registered doctor, she left that work as she says it is just glorified legal drug dealing.

I digress.
She had me on a drip, that made me feel better instantly, I made a dried nettle and dried mint tea that I harvest here and added a little sugar and it stayed down, them nettles are packed with nutrients.

She left me with loads of herbal oils, teas and mixed herbs to detox with for a week, her conclusion was arsenic poisoning!

Great! and right - someone mentioned heavy metals - top one is arsenic, either fertilisers/pesticides or paint maybe?

good news :-)

Good! Sounds like you need a little help. An evaluation at least to see if the issue is internal like an organ malfunctioning or external like bad water/food or whatever. Gosh dude. You sound awefully sick. In case you need them, here's a little something that might help....

antybodies.jpg

Well, make you smile anyway.

Lol cheers buddy, arsenic poisoning apparently, on the mend after a visit from an homeopath and being on a drip for an hour or so.

How the hell did you get poisoned? Any idea?

Not a clue, I can only speculate.

I would like to ask one of my long-term friends of here and back as far as steemit, could I entrust you with via email

Dunno if you include me in that, matey - but no worries - ill sort it for ya- let me know, I'll give you another email addy. (on bastyon chat)

Not that your're going anywhere....so there is that...so keep punching !

Cheers brother, I will get my old laptop out when I have a tad more strength, as my log in to bastyon is on there.

no worries....
....if it's too much trouble for you, I can give it you here - (but probably not a good idea?)
....You'll be right as rain soon enough !

Arsenic poisoning apparently me ex doctor come homeopath says, how the hell I came into contact with that is anyone's guess.

So just a matter of de -toxing then ?
Excellent news if so.....(not been messing with very old paints have you ?)

Seems so, and no re plants, thinking it came from the water well as only I use that.

Sounds very unpleasant mate I hope you recover fast and will be back on one of those bikes soon.

Thanks bro, me too.

Oh my goodness, please get well soon
There won’t be any need for goodbyes, you’ll be fine in not time
Stay strong champ

Oh my!!! My first thought was "heavy metal poisoning." Arsenic comes closest to the symptoms you describe. Detoxify! I really hope to hear better news from you soon...

Funny you say that, had a home visit from a homeopath who used to be a MD, and she said the same, she got me on a drip which helped instantly, I made a tea from dried nettles I dried 2 weeks ago and some dried mint and it stayed down, she left me loads of herbs and oils and although I cannot sleep (nothing new there) I am feeling stronger and the muscles are working again, she says a week and I will be fit and fine.

I'm so happy to hear this! Do you have any idea where you were poisoned? I'm wondering if you did something unusual that released toxins from one of your bikes? From what you've told us, I gather it came on very suddenly. Did you hold a piece in your mouth? I think soldering can sometimes release toxins. But I know absolutely nothing about work of this sort...

I am thinking our water well and aim to disprove or prove that by sending a sample to a lab for testing, only I use the well water, and only I got poisoned, time will tell, thanks for the kind words.

  ·  3 years ago  ·   (edited)

Can I have your shoes afterwards?

Jk

Hope you get better soon.

When I get real bad food poisoning I drink alot of water and swish it around in my stomach, then drink and drink water till I throw it back up and repeat it.

As for the muscles, your going to need salts as this is how nutrients gets passed around your bodie. Salts... very important dont over due it though.. Chow down on some saltines. Eat some homemade chicken noodle soup. Stay away from dairy products and eggs, bananas, chocolate.

Do you have "electrolit" there? Or a package of concentrated electrolytes for emergency? Consider this heavily since your dehydrating and turning yellow especially.

On the mend my friend, had a saline drip which helped, now drinking herbal teas and your advice re electrolytic is spot on and the chicken noodles, every-time I had food poisoning in Thailand the doctor would say the same as you did.
Seems I have arsenic poisoning, no idea how, but my homeopath thinks I will be fine in a week after a detox with herbs.

You can have all my shoes with pleasure.

Not done the muay thai kick boxing for a good few years now, too old for that lol.
Still got a tattoo on my arm that was gifted to me by my Thai sparring partner, says in Thai "ti nung" number one in Thai, best farrang he had fought, farrang meaning foreigner.

Them were the day hey.

Nice! I did 5 years kickboxing and 8 years wing tsun (ebmas).. I reached 6th student grade.

Very nice, I only went into it when I moved to Thailand as I was used to weight training and wanted to keep fit over there, so did it for fun and to keep fit, loved it more than just doing the weights for muscle mass size.

I will make arrangements for the bikes.

All jokes aside I hope you get feeling better soon. I have had a real ass kicking from malaria a few times I can understand to a certain extent.

Glad to hear you are getting some attention and a drip. When you can lots of water and try hydration salts to get your electrolytes up.

You can have a bike with pleasure :-) Almost back to fighting fit now, thanks for the kind words.

Glad to hear you are on the up and up. Best news I have heard on blurt this week with all the shit flying around.

Hope you can get your hands back in the dirt soon and continue to build that immune system back up.

Been at the grass cutting for hours today and staying out of the argument re foundation for and against, got better things to do with my time than concentrate on negative things, life is too short.

I'm glad to read in the comments a saline drip has helped.

I'm assuming that no one else in your family was affected since you didn't mention it. It leaves me wondering how the arsenic found its way inside of you (I read further your comment on it being found). That rules out my first concern of some kind of energy weapon.

It can be introduced through the skin, although from a quick look it seems likely you would have noticed skin issues.

https://dermnetnz.org/topics/chronic-arsenic-poisoning

While it could be some freak thing, arsenic poisoning isn't a common thing so please start making notes so if it happens again you are more likely to pinpoint how it happens and if being done on purpose possibly narrow down who it could be.

My thoughts are for a speedy recovery and this is just some weird accidental fluke that befell you.

I am suspecting our well as only I use it to wash with.

I hope you're doing better now.

Much better and thank you for the email, much appreciated.

Happy to hear your feeling better @ajerkoff I have had that food poisoning in Thailand a couple of times it's not fun at all.

Cheers, bit worse than food poisoning this one, but feeling much better now, hope to never feel like that again.

Good to hear hope your all good now. Take care buddy :)
