Hi, I confirm that Blurt is layer-1, it is its own sovereign chain forked off the Steem blockchain in May 2020, before Steem witnesses wiped funds from key Hive supporters, also Blurt keeps intact accounts that were excluded in the Hive fork.
I was emotionally abused on Hive, mostly by NGC and Netuoso, both of which have left, but a few toxic remain on that list, however they did me a favour, I landed up started Blurt and going into the Cosmos ecosystem and things have never been nicer.
I'm not going to vote this post because even though some of it is true, I don't want to start FUD against HIVE, there are alot of good people still there who have investments, Blurt is like Switzerland we welcome everyone and don't wish to be at war with anyone.
