Sorry, I'm just N5 level. I study Minna no Nihongo. I am now at chapter 19. How do you study Nihongo? As for me, I study by apps and youtube videos.
I am starting in the following order.
I have to speak English and there is a lot to do.

You're on the right track. Also study the grammar points in Minna no Nihonggo. There are a lot of youtube tutorials. Lessons 1-25 covers JLPT N5 level. I will write about my Nihongo studies soon.
