After watching Tale of the Nine Tailed when it was first released in 2020, the show ticked many boxes for me although it was hard to accept the fact that Lee Rang, one of the major characters in the show lost his life at the least expected time. He was a fan's favourite and many people enjoyed his love-hate relationship with his half-brother.
If you are a big fan of tvshows, you will likely know how it feels to see the death of a character who you have gotten to admire throughout his/her screen time. Lee Rang is that character and his death left a huge void in the heart of fans.
Well, what else can we do? The scriptwriter got us with that one and the scene did exactly what it was meant to do. It pierced our heart. However, I never would have imagined that we will be getting a second season of this show. Most importantly, who would have thought we will get to see our boy, Lee Rang? Haha.
Lee Rang is the dude in all Black, flexing an axe. Haha.

From all indications, this latest edition of Tale Of The Nine-Tailed is the second season of the show and the last episode was released on 11th June, this year. Not 1938. Hehe. Don't get it twisted.
The storyline of this second season of the show can be taken as a prequel to the first season. The main character (Lee Yeon) and his friend had to travel back to 1930. The reason for that decision was because of an unexpected case which had to be resolved with urgency. In that era, Korea was under Japanese rule and his brother (Lee Rang) is alive and thriving as the leader of bandits.
While in the era of 1983, both brothers got to reunite and the love-hate relationship which makes their bromance adorable was still very visible. But the brother from the future wasn't too hard on his younger brother because he already knows the pain of living in an era where he has no one to call a brother.
While the onscreen relationship with both brothers was adorable to see, the story is largely based on different categories of powerful creatures, demons, spirits and stuff like that. They were also very good in combat so, a lot of scenes were filled with well-choreographed fighting sequences. I particularly like how there were a lot of superpowers that are unique to some characters and they all got to flex theirs while in combat.
One of the concerns that was raised about this season of the show is the change in the female lead character. Many characters from the first season were dropped and a lot more were introduced, but so many people were worried about the introduction of a different female lead. Kim So-Yeon is the one that got that role and I've seen her in a lot of other projects. The lady is good.
Interestingly, the role she played in this show is the perfect role that suits her track record in the industry.
The main female character in this season of the show is badass and doesn't wait for Prince Charming to come to her rescue. She is bold, kind-hearted and protects those under her care. She is also in control of her emotions... The perfect kinda female lead character I love to see on tv shows.
To enjoy this and have good knowledge of the backstory of the characters, I would highly suggest you watch the Tale of the Nine Tailed released in 2022, before jumping into this. That should be a no-brainer 🙂.

Después de ver Tale of the Nine Tailed cuando se estrenó por primera vez en 2020, el programa cumplió muchos requisitos para mí, aunque fue difícil aceptar el hecho de que Lee Rang, uno de los personajes principales del programa perdió la vida en el momento menos esperado. Era el favorito de los fanáticos y muchas personas disfrutaban de su relación de amor y odio con su medio hermano.
Si eres un gran fanático de los programas de televisión, probablemente sabrás lo que se siente al ver la muerte de un personaje al que has llegado a admirar a lo largo de su tiempo en pantalla. Lee Rang es ese personaje y su muerte dejó un gran vacío en el corazón de los fanáticos.
Bueno, ¿qué más podemos hacer? El guionista nos convenció y la escena hizo exactamente lo que se suponía que debía hacer. Atravesó nuestro corazón. Sin embargo, nunca me hubiera imaginado que tendríamos una segunda temporada de este programa. Lo más importante, ¿quién hubiera pensado que llegaríamos a ver a nuestro chico, Lee Rang? Ja ja.

Según todos los indicios, esta última edición de Tale Of The Nine-Tailed es la segunda temporada del programa y el último episodio se lanzó el 11 de junio de este año. No 1938. Jeje. No lo torcer.
La trama de esta segunda temporada del programa puede tomarse como una precuela de la primera temporada. El personaje principal (Lee Yeon) y su amigo tuvieron que viajar a 1930. El motivo de esa decisión fue por un caso inesperado que debía resolverse con urgencia. En esa era, Corea estaba bajo el dominio japonés y su hermano (Lee Rang) está vivo y próspero como líder de los bandidos.
Mientras que en la era de 1983, ambos hermanos se reunieron y la relación de amor y odio que hace que su bromance sea adorable todavía era muy visible. Pero el hermano del futuro no fue demasiado duro con su hermano menor porque ya conoce el dolor de vivir en una era en la que no tiene a nadie a quien llamar hermano.
Si bien la relación en pantalla con ambos hermanos fue adorable de ver, la historia se basa en gran medida en diferentes categorías de criaturas poderosas, demonios, espíritus y cosas por el estilo. También eran muy buenos en combate, por lo que muchas escenas estaban llenas de secuencias de lucha bien coreografiadas. Particularmente me gusta cómo había muchos superpoderes que son exclusivos de algunos personajes y todos pudieron ejercitar los suyos durante el combate.
Una de las preocupaciones que se planteó sobre esta temporada del programa es el cambio en el personaje principal femenino. Se eliminaron muchos personajes de la primera temporada y se introdujeron muchos más, pero mucha gente estaba preocupada por la introducción de una protagonista femenina diferente. Kim So-Yeon es la que obtuvo ese papel y la he visto en muchos otros proyectos. La señora es buena.
Curiosamente, el papel que interpretó en este programa es el papel perfecto que se adapta a su trayectoria en la industria.
El personaje femenino principal en esta temporada del programa es rudo y no espera a que el príncipe azul venga a rescatarla. Es audaz, de buen corazón y protege a los que están bajo su cuidado. Ella también tiene el control de sus emociones... El personaje principal femenino perfecto que me encanta ver en los programas de televisión.
Para disfrutar esto y tener un buen conocimiento de la historia de fondo de los personajes, le sugiero que vea el Cuento de las nueve colas lanzado en 2022, antes de saltar dentro de esto. Eso debería ser una obviedad 🙂.
