This Kdrama is inspired by Mary Shelley's gothic novel Frankenstein. it tells the story of a world-renowned but unsympathetic neurosurgeon and his involvement with the mysterious deaths in the hospital he works in.
Lee Young-O (Jang Hyuk) is the neurosurgeon in question. He is an excellent neurosurgeon, but has zero sympathy. One day, he becomes involved in bizarre patient deaths. He also falls in love and recovers his humanity as the show continues.
