Who would win ? Thanos or Jesus ?

I was looking for an image of a 2,000 year old Jesus for a comment on @the-gorilla ‘s Blurt Blog post about Christmas and I came across this very interesting post on Quora …

Who would win … Thanos or Jesus ?

It says Jesus would win.

What do you think ?

Who would win in the Epic battle of the gods ?

So Jesus is God right and God created everything and is still creating everything. Every star, Planet and Galaxies. All made by him. I don't have to go by your science to say God is only Universal. That's debunked in the word. Speaking of the word. Who was the Word made flesh. Jesus was. Here is a verse from the book of John…..

I didn’t read the article, so these are my own thoughts. The intent of the question would imply that the two of them would be at their most powerful.
So that would be Jesus after the resurrection, and Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet.

Let’s assume that Jesus had the full power of God after the resurrection. The closest parallel being to resurrected Jesus in the marvel multiverse is the personification of a parallel universe called the Beyonder from the Secret Wars comics that pre-dates the Infinity Gauntlet, so let’s assume Jesus had the same infinite power as the Beyonder. That would make him the personification of the marvel universe that they are fighting in.

So you have a omnipotent being vs. another omnipotent being. Both with the same power source? which is the universe itself.

Could there ever be a winner?

Jesus would probably defuse the situation by showing Thanos that God loved him… and then they would become good friends.

In the original infinity Gauntlet comics story line, the final reason Thanos was able to be defeated was because a subconscious part of him wanted to lose.
I truly believe that even the most evil person has some good in them. All it takes is the right situation for them to see it in themselves.

Very true. There is always a tiny glimmering light of hope.

Jesus.

Thanos will think he's won but then Jesus will rise from the dead to win the final battle.

Jesus.

Amen.

If Jesus does Thanos over, is it too much to ask for him to get to work on Gates, Fauci and the fat dude at the head of the BIS, in Basel ?

....give the good guys a helping hand ?

I just watched Thanos in Dead Pool 2. I did not know he was in that movie. And he is a good guy … when does he turn evil ?

I have no idea who the character is (in any movie), tbh - I was just (trying) to be humorous . lol

Oh… you would love the story about Thanos… he thinks overpopulation is destroying the earth so he wants to eliminate 4 Billion humans to save the planet.

Why does Thanos want to destroy half of the universe? To bring balance to the Universe. With half the population of every Species gone, there will be enough resources to feed the rest otherwise with overpopulation, the resources will exhaust and all species will eventually die.
