Hi, all it's a long since I wrote something as a witness.
If you all remember a few months before, I uncovered some people, and those were gone, but they are back now with problems
This time with the support of other people, those who bought the dip created by the persons causing the situation, and again same is happening.
There are continuous threats to dump the blurt price even if that dumps their investment too.
I have already written much on that topic, and most of you know I had to almost leave the platform until people talked to me and asked me to stay(and I still thank them for that)
Now one saying like
- I should not be paid anymore
- One is that I should be funded by a proposal
But all these two are the same things to me. As I have started the custom frontends on mine as well as other community witness-supported platforms, I have not even taken a single penny yet from them
( @freakeao, @imransoudagar, @zahid can confirm)
because I was satisfied with what I was getting along with people's support to reach the top 5 witnesses.
My Decision
Last time I had gone into a deep depression and for some time I almost didn't work on any development. This time too, I have the same because of the price. I was depending on the earned blurt here, and that was enough for me until someone decided to come back and dump blurt.
I have made plans to support blurt more as I moved to complete open-source after I left my job in the Web2 area. The plans included
- A better frontend with revamped UI and controls
- A better wallet app
- More of emeds support
- Maybe some basic games
- Sidechain Dapps
- Stats (like top posts, top comments, top voted)
- Curation with supporting delegators commission
- And maybe some chain updates( Even if I have to spend time learning C++)
So, I have decided not to let them take over and not to fall into their trap of infinite blames and lies.
I will never stop doing whatever I am doing, even if the price is dumped to almost 0. Or if witnesses are taken over by money, or there are rules implemented. In any case of a takeover, I still decided to stand against them.

It's time to stand up to people and let them know, that Blurt does not allow threats. Blurt does not allow bullies to takeover. It's our platform and we will support it to the last.

Proxy Witness Votes
If you are new to this witness thing, or if you have never voted for any witness and you are unsure which one is good and actually care for Blurt.
So, you can assign your votes to me by assigning me as the proxy account for all your witness votes by going to link
and click set proxy after entering my username
You can anytime remove the proxy. You can also vote witnesses up to a limit of 30, and I say you yourself do this. But if you can not then please do assign me as a proxy.

Thank you for writing this. This builds confidence in Blurt in many ways. As I suspect this 7/7 date is no big deal, anyone buying this pullback will be happy down the road. Thank you for stating your position regarding the current narratives going forward. I'm heartened to read elsewhere last night during a break at work that megadrive is going to be doing so as well soon. I'm hopeful that soon we will see many more of the witnesses join in declaring their positions, and sharing any consensus that is reached within the community.
I think folks here better be prepared for this likelihood. The amount of stake lined up against the Foundation is larger by a lot than the previous VTS war. If there is no compromise (I'm hopeful there will be) the community should prepare itself to the return of the low fraction of a penny values again.
I'm hopeful that this won't turn into such a battle that it remains unacknowledged that there have been questions raised that should be relevant and not ignored.

I have the same problem with ALL your posts and comments. To me, it is like you are writing in Swedish. I can't understand most sentences, and I don't grasp your intention. The problem seems to be part language barrier, part laziness and poor writing skills. It appears you want sympathy and you are upset about the recent price drop, are angry at certain people (you will not name), and want others to join you in that anger. To me, this is a pointless and negative post, and like I said, it is very hard to understand.

I don't blame anybody for the price drop, it is what it is. Just like I wouldn't give anyone a prize for the price rising when they bought a bunch. That's just how the market works! Interesting to know more about what happened though, thanks. It's strange to see the price jump so dramatically and obviously on relatively small trades. When I bought in (much smaller than yourself, mind you) there was absolutely no change in the price. Perhaps that's barbecue I did it through hive-engine though, I imagine there is a price cushioning effect between there and the major exchanges other people seem to use.

Its unfortunate that a person here dumps the size of my entire blurt portfolio every month, then the double dumper dumped again causing a long red candle in Probit alone. So price-wise I think we are at the mercy of few people with blackhole energy of humping the the reward pool and then dumping it like a monthly case of bad diarrhea. @tekraze
Anyway just do what you know is right and fight in behalf of people that cannot do much except to maybe vent their opinions on this matter. 👍
Atleast they can take a side, for what is right. Not just for free votes
Sellers can only sell what they have bought (or been paid).
The developers and other insiders are the biggest sellers of BLURT, and the largest downward pressure on the price.
