What are the pillars of Shahada (Islamic lecture)?

Hello, friends! Assalamu Alaikum. How are you? Hope that all of you are fine by the infinity mercy and blessings from Allah. I am fine, Alhamdulillah.

In this post, we are going to remind ourselves about a very important topic. To become Muslim, as the first step, we need to utter Kalima or Shahada (La ilaha illallah). But, do we know that Shahada has pillars?
Yes. Shahada has two pillars. In this video, Ustadh Mohamad Baajour has talked about those two pillars.

The two pillars are derived from the Quran. It is in verse number 256 in Surah Al Bakarah (the ayah after Ayatul Kursi). To establish Shahada, one must need to do two things (hence two pillars)

• Disbelieve or reject all the tagut, and
• Believe in Allah
