Yes… you earn your Blurt power and Blurt every 7 days from your blog posts. As your Blurt power increases your upvote(like) of other peoples posts goes up…. If you upvote someone and give them 1Blurt, you earn .5 Blurt

Thanks. Buying Blurt has been the key for me. I guess I should have done that with Steem and Hive, but the downvotes prevented me from investing and money there. It’s pretty demoralizing to have your artwork, photography and film work downvoted to zero there every 7 days.
