My Re-Introduction to Blurt

I have been wanting to make this re-introduction from early January, just manage to make it just now. Life has brought a lot more surprises to me than I have been expected.

But why reintroduction? Yes because my first introduction post was back when steemit was the only blockchain-based social media where we can share what we like and expected to get some payment.

Who am I?

Ok, let's talk about myself because this is an introduction post isn't it? My Name is Eka Wahyu, or you can call me Eka. I come from Bali, an island in the Indonesian archipelago.

Family

I was the first son in my family, I have only one younger brother. Both of us are already married. I am myself is a father of 5 months old son, who got married when the pandemic hits hard on the island.

Work

I work in one of the hotels in Nusa Dua area, one of the famous tourist destinations in Bali with lots of big hotels and tourism establishments. Now I work only 6 days a month since tourism is one of the hardest impacted businesses by the pandemic.

While my wife works in the hospital in my hometown as a midwife. Lucky me, she's the one now giving the most support for the family, as my salary is now mostly being used for buying gas for my bike to commute to my working place.

Hobby

I used to love to watch football and I support the English club Arsenal. But lately, since I am getting old, and the national television rarely broadcasting the match, I hardly watch them, only find the result through the highlight on youtube.

I also love to take photos, which I mostly put on my post, back in the steemit time, or now in blurt. I am still learning to take better photos though. so your feedback on my photos is much appreciated.

Blockchain Time

I heard about bitcoin back in 2014 if I am not mistaken (should have bought a lot back then) but could not really understand the technology. Also I was just being scammed by a post to get paid site called bubblews makes me a bit skeptical about bitcoin.

I join steemit back in 2017 when I heard about it from one of my friend, which I met back in bubbles time. Again I should have bought bitcoin and other assets back then, which I failed and proven to be bad.

Now after more than 5 years have passed from the first time I joined steemit, I don't really have a great crypto holding, since I am now a tiny bit above being broke. LOL

I am hoping that I can have more money when the pandemic is over and tourism is back in business so that I can invest more in crypto. Well, Blurt is now one of my targets.

Why Make Introduction post?

Well I have joined the Blurt Africa group and do a conversation with @bestkizito who encourage me to make another introduction post on blurt after I mention that I have made mine back in steemit time.
