My Introduction/Summer14

Hello, Blurts' people, My name is Janet Carmela Buenavista, born in the Philippines and lives in Antipolo City. I am the fourth among the 7 children of my beloved parents. Both of them are gone now.

I got to know Blurt from @G10a and decided to check it out. I go by the handle name on Steemit as summer14. I've been with Steemit for a year or so, but I became inactive due to many reasons. I decided to stay away from microblog platforms for a while to avoid some peeps who were unpredictable. During Steemit days, I was taking care of my dad who happens to be bedridden though he passed away last August of 2018. I wrote about it in another app to somehow alleviate the pain I felt. I am not a professional writer. I am just writing freely what's on my mind.

What made me busy the past years

Well, I created a YouTube channel and my niche is all about reviews on online income opportunities, sometimes I do cooking vids, and random uploads. I also worked as a customer service representative at a bpo company but when I was told that we will transfer here in Antipolo City due to rent increase, I lost my interest as well as my focus and didn't do well on my training for my new account. At that time training was being done in Pioneer, Edsa and it was way too far from Antipolo City.

How am I coping with this pandemic

I am thankful to the Lord that he continues to protect my family and friends from this virus. We are still adjusting to the new normal, looking for a new job in a new place is much harder these days because not everyone offers work from home or tools for those who prefer to work at home. I hope next year will be better. Planting is not my thing but good for those with a "green thumb" I just go with the flow, for now, I will continue to submit my resume, wait to be called for an interview or exam, they do the hiring process online and hopefully be hired next year.
