It is very interesting to join Blurt community.
Being a fork of Steem, it seems that Blurt is missing (or deliberately omitting) some features, such as:
- Downvote.
- SBD equivalent.
Basically, downvote was introduced in Steem to control spam on the blockchcain. However, it seems that "free downvote" as currently implemented in Steem and Hive has brought its own problem. That is, abuse of downvote to suppress not only spam but also valid posts. Therefore, it is necessary to regulate the downvote feature, but not to eliminate it. I wonder how Blurt is going to deal with spam without downvote.
About SBD, it is meant to provide business owners with a currency that is stable enough to make payment. Without SBD equivalent, payment should be made using BLURT whose price is too volatile. Therefore, the blockchain may be not too charm as a payment system.
But at least we have more options other than Steem and Hive. And more options is always good. :-)
What do you think?
Yes... I agree...
Maybe it will stabilize the platform from theft of other people's content.
And it's healthy for Blurt.
spam has been dealt decisive blow w the introduction of small transaction fee. each transaction on blurt costs a tiny fee taken from ur liquid blurt. no more downvoting, what a relief. stable coins are a pain in the blurt, yeah fiat is stable haha
I see.. so now transaction has fee in Blurt.. just knew about it.
