Well hello my fellow Blurt posters(Are we called Blurters?), friends and future followers!
It gives me great pleasure in writing my introductory post on this platform and excited to offer a possibly fresh take on Japanese automotive existence.
Yes you read right, Japanese automotive, I have a love for all things Japanese but more specifically their vehicles. Even more so the vintage and classic models such as the Nissan Skyline GT-R and Mazda RX7.
I've always found it difficult in life to put pen to paper or in this case finger to keyboard to create a written article or something meaningful out of a string of words. This leads me to tell you that I have over the years I found an alternative to express myself and that is by the means of video content creation to create and awe with a story.
It all started roughly 5 years ago when I started working on my very own Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R. Not being mechanically minded and having little to no experience at the time, I decided to start filming my work so that I could back trace my steps should I had run into an issue. One day it hit me, perhaps there were others out there like like me who wanted to feel a sense of accomplishment when working on their own Japanese cars.

My simple video uploads evolved into DIY videos, informative car auction videos and feature films! This was the birth of NelKelJDM, Nel being a shortened version of my name "Nelson" Kel being my wife and JDM standing for Japanese Domestic Market.
What I will be offering to the Blurt is a variety of written JDM auction posts and exclusive YouTube video content. I will occasionally test my photography skills and likely link a livestream or two.
In addition to the Skyline GT-R, I forgot to mention I have 2 x Mazda RX7 FD3S's and a Toyota MR2 SW20
See above video
I am excited to be part of this journey and looking forward to making new friends!
