Dear friends and dear brothers, greetings from me. My name is Tahir Afzal. I am a resident of a village. How did I come to this website? Before I tell you this, let me tell you. I have never worked online at any website, nor do I know how to do one. I just came here from a Facebook link. Where someone posted the invitation link.
As I said I live in a village and my father used to work in agriculture but now he is sick and can't work. He has a heart condition which makes him unable to do any hard work. And I am the only son of my parents and I have four sisters, three of whom are married. And I got married exactly 11 months ago today.
I have a small mobile repair shop and mobile Accessories shop in our village.
I am about 35 years old. My education is not very high. I have just studied till matriculation. After that I left education and started learning mobile repair work. And at the age of twenty, I learned all about mobile repair. Fifteen years ago today, my dad made me a small mobile repair shop. The income that comes after repairing people's bad mobiles is our livelihood. But 3 years after the shop was set up, I had an accident that made my life miserable. I got an abscess on my foot which I did not take seriously at first and kept working in my shop. But one day my foot suddenly became very swollen and it was probably due to sitting at the shop. The pain in my foot was getting worse now and my walking was getting harder.
One day my father took me to the hospital and the doctor operated on my foot, which is the biggest mistake of my life. I wish I had not had that operation. After the operation, for a while, I kept getting medicine for wound pain and my wound bandage etc. and I got some relief from the pain. And I started sitting at my shop every day. But despite daily bandages, my wound began to rot. And my condition became very critical. I was admitted to the hospital and my treatment started there. The big doctors tried to treat me but my wound did not make any difference and it kept getting worse.
My father sold half of the land he used for farming, and took me to another city for treatment. I went there and was admitted to a very big hospital, first the doctors there treated my wound. When nothing happened, the doctors decided to operate on my foot. And one day I had foot surgery. The flesh was removed from my leg and placed on my foot. The flesh of my wound was healed properly. But my wound was not drying up. I stayed in this hospital for two months but my wound did not heal.
For so many years we ran with my foot wound. My father even sold the other half of the land. But my feet could not be cured. My life has become very indigestible because of this wound. My dad had a heart attack because of my anxiety.
And then we married our sisters. And seeing my condition, my father thought that I should get married so that I may not have to worry about the wound after marriage. And maybe my wound will heal. And I got married 11 months ago.
As much as I earn from my shop, I buy bandages for my wounds and run my household expenses. When I have a sore foot, I close the shop. The point is, I can't afford to have my feet treated properly because of a lack of money. And to this day I have not raised my hand in front of anyone. I am fighting for my life with my circumstances. I have no source of income other than this small shop. You can see my wound and me in the video below. I don't know how to upload video here. But I put the video on youtube and made a link for you friends.
Now I will show you some of my medicines and bandages which cost me a lot of money every day.
Below you can see some injections in the first picture.
Some of these injections are pain relieving injections and some are wound healing. I take painkillers injection twice a day. And the wound-drying injection I get once a day.
And I have to bandage the wound twice a day, which I have been doing for 12 years in a row. Below you can see my bandage stuff
And at the same time I have tablets that I have to eat for my wounds.
Dear friends, I am barely able to bear the cost of all these medicines and bandages. My courage is slowly running out. And our country is one where you don't even get a tablet for free.
