Hello Blurtians, I am excited to be part of this educational and rewarding social platform.
ABOUT MYSELF
My name is Selina Albane Matteo, born on the 22nd february, 1996 in Hamilton, in the western tip of Ontario, Canada, I'm a Canadian by birth. I spent my early years in Brantford, but later relocated to Krasnodar Krai, Russia.
I am the only child of my parents but I have got some close cousins whom I regard as my siblings. Both my parents are from Ontario.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
My early education and high school was done at Haven International School, Brantford where I optained my high school diploma. I'm a graduate of Redeemer University college in Ontario, I have a master's degree in nutrition in Sciences. I'm currently un-employed. I'ld like to work online from home and that's probably why I'm unemployed now.
PASSION/ HOBBY
My hobbies include reading, travelling, playing lawn tennis and cooking. I love reading the most as I always learn something new in each literary work which I come across. I have read the following literary works;
• Beloved by Toni Morrison
• Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
• Half of a yellow sun by Chimamanda Adichie
• White Teeth by Zadie Smith
• Things fall apart by Chinua Achebe
• Lion and the Jewel by Wole Soyinka
And so many others
HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT BLURT
I Learnt about blurt after my acquaintance with Xander my old friend from school. He told me about this platform Blurt and how it could help improve me and also get me exposed to informations that will benefit me. He guided me during my online registration on the Blurt platform. Today, I am happy to be able to write and express my self on this awesome platform.
MY AIM OF JOINING BLURT
I have already been told that Blurt is an educational and economic platform i.e create contents and get rewarded. So since am someone who loves literatures and reading, I am here to get exposed to more literary works, create and share my literary works and also learn greatly from this platform.
I am honored to be part of the blurt community and I thank the blurt community for having me on the platform.

Welcome to Blurt, do you mind if I ask you to draw the word Blurt or the Blurt logo on a piece of paper and take a selfie with it. I have been suspecting some of the model types that joined have had their photos taken from external profiles, possibly without their permission.
I remember taking a selfie with my account name and date when I joined Steemit way back August of 2017. Some exchanges are using this for verification. Selfie plus date pf photo and name of exchange.
Hahaha... Yeah, selfie plus date. Reminds me of what I had to pass through just last night trying to register on STEX Exchange.
Had to do an ID verification, and a video verification by writing STEX on a piece of paper, with the day's date and holding my ID on another hand. Still waiting for a success/approval mail from them.
It is my hope that buying Blurt on STEX would prove to be worth the while.
I tried submitting to those two exchanges as well but didn't pursue them any longer. I'm happy with Ionomy. Just recently, I can no longer login to my probit account.

Yeah I do, but it's always poetry
Oh... That's nice. Find it difficult to write poetry cos I feel poetry is nothing without the rhymes.
Sometimes it's not always about the rhymes, it's the message it passes and meaning it interprets that matters.

Exactly. I guess that's where I get it all wrong. Prefer to write novels though. That's where I have my strength.
