INTRODUCTION POST

Hello blurt, it feels good to finally join this platform. I am Anagbe Mimidoo, I mark my birthday every 24 April, I am the third child out of five children ( 3males and 2females😁). I am from Benue State, Nigeria, I am currently a student of Benue State School of Nursing, Makurdi. I am currently in my final year and I must say that it has been a very rough journey thus far, but, since the dream is to become a nurse I've always held my head high while facing every challenge and looking forward to achieving my dream. Aside my secondary School days I consider my experiences as a student nurse my best so far, I'm definitely not referring to my books anyways🌝 but the clinical experiences. I've been posted to the clinical area twice, one time in my town here in Makurdi and another time in the community and I must say that it has always been a very beautiful experience. Waking up in the morning and preparing for your shift like you are now the matron in the ward🤭 then you get to work and see that your patients look up to you not minding the fact that you are a student. My best ward so far has been the pediatric ward, generally I love children and they are very interesting to watch, they bring a child to the ward and they look so down, you commence medications and once the child start to feel better you see him/her jumping round the ward, for me, seeing that means my efforts have not been in vain.

I love being there for people when they need me to( that is one of the reasons why I've always wanted to be a nurse) I love spending time with family and friends, I like reading novels, cooking and watching movies, I'm not a lover of sports but I like basketball, and I can be a talkative most of the time.

I got to know about blurt for while now through Kizito, and I only felt the urge to join recently. I want to use this medium to thank him for putting me through. I hope to have a beautiful time here and contribute my quarter to the growth of this community as I meet new people and begin beautiful friendships, I also hope to learn a lot from here.
