[ INTRODUCE YOURSELF ] - My New Season

Hello Blurt and hello world!

It's been a while that I have been into the crypto world, wew! It's a relief knowing that I can log in to blurt after reading @mermaidvampire's post on Facebook. I know there are so many things going on in the world and in the crypto realm which I am not aware of but I am still thankful that in my new season as a new mother, although busy, I am able to do create an introductory post.

MY STEEMIT JOURNEY

So as a background, I had been to Steemit since 2017. After the SBD and Steem value went on a dive, I went on a slight hiatus but I continued blogging through a crossposting feature on my photography site via WordPress.

When I became pregnant in November of 2019, I was introduced to Hive and some other dapps. I joined and since 2020 was a quarantine year, I was posting a lot and was active too with my YouTube channel.

However, when I gave birth in July, I somehow went on AWOL from all of these sites. I thought becoming a mother is easy. Well, I was wrong!

Five months forward, I am now in Bohol, my baby is turning five months soon, he weighs 8.9kgs and 68cm in length. He also had developed two front teeth! Because I already have help in taking care of my baby, I am somehow able to get back to what I was used to doing, editing photos and videos, social media interaction, and now, I aim to create blogs again. I know I can't do such things without being interrupted because I have a baby to nurse and take care of but this is one step forward to being back in my pre-motherhood state.

MY CONTENT

Before, I was into travel and photography topics. But now that it's still a scary thing to go out and travel, I will strive to post photography and motherhood topics instead. As soon as everything's back to normal, I will definitely be back with my travel posts.

So, I wonder if there are mommy communities here that I could join and share my little happiness, daily learnings and realizations, and of course struggles of being a new mom.
