Introducing myself on Blurt: Hi!

Hello everyone at Blurt, I hope and wish you are healthy and happy. It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you and let you know a little about myself, my tastes and above all extend my hand to make many friends on this new platform.

I am Emilio Cabrera from Venezuela, a young man with many dreams ahead of him who has in his chest the hope of getting out of the slavery of the centralized systems that overwhelm our peoples. That is why I believe in the Blockchain as the remedy for the future to be better. In fact, I am not new here, I have been sailing since 2018 in the steem ecosystem, there I had many joys but also many disappointments.

My world changed when I met the blockchain.

My first studies were inclined towards Education since I come from a family of university professors, as I always liked the oil industry, I studied several Industrial Safety and Occupational Hygiene studies, thus managing in 2012 to enter the state-owned Petróleos de Venezuela.

My stay in the industry has marked part of my life knowing all the movements of drilling and exploitation of petroleum and derivatives. Also for all the courses and apprenticeships that I have acquired in the last 6 years. Although everything was going well in the industry in 2012, everything was in decline due to the political processes and the war of power in my country.

It was in that time of economic debacle when I got to know the blockchain and it was like a light at the end of the tunnel, because my mother suffered from cancer that led her to the grave and I was able to ease her burden a bit with the rewards obtained in steem through some friends who knew my situation.

Living in a country with hyperinflation like the one that Venezuela has is not easy, however, there is a lot of optimism in my spirit to believe, grow and support my family through decentralized systems.

In fact, on one occasion I was in charge of directing the Steem church and through it we planned, organized and carried out many social projects that included aid for the farmers of the region, school supplies in the school, contribution for soup kitchens before the famine that hit various nearby regions of my country and we also donated basic medicines in health matters.

Nature

I like to interact a lot with nature, some birds have been helped with water in periods of drought, I have built water troughs with the fruit of the tapado that are natural and resistant.

All of this indicates the things that I am passionate about, I am also fascinated by art, graphic design and drawing in all its expression.

I would like to share with you many of the things I do, but above all to find many friends to build communities that add value to the Blurt platform.

Some of my artistic works that I have done range from vintage models to modern trends. I like to draw with charcoal and also with many colors ...
