I got prompted by @world-travel-pro to join Blurt and realised I already had an account here from the fork.
I'll do some proper stand-alone articles later, but l just wanted to use this intro post to give escapees from Hive some advice.
When (if!) you write articles on Hive, please use tags for some of the scot tokens on your posts. I recommend #vyb, #neoxian, #archon and #proofofbrain.
The people who downvote you on Hive are often not staked in these coins, and so can't take them away from you.
You can then sell these coins for Hive on hive-engine.com, send the Hive to Ionomy.com and sell for bitcoin - and then use that bitcoin to buy Blurt. Which supports the Blurt price.
In particular the vyb token (which stands for verify your brain) does not have any downvoting. You will receive your vyb tokens in staked form, but you can power them down from within hive-engine.com.

I’ve not been on hive for months do people earn much for VYB anymore? because it wasn’t looking that promising when I was there. The problem with Vyb is you still have to kind of access hive and it’s just so toxic and unbearable to even spend 20 minutes on there. For me it’s just such low vibe it really messes with my energy I didn’t realise how much until I cut it clean off but respect those people that are still doing the Lord’s work over there LOL

VYB has been falling lately. The trick is to combine it with other tags, so you earn multiple coins.
For example, it looks like @offgridlife was being downvoted by azircon. According to hivestats, https://hivestats.io/@azircon azircon has a lot of leo and waiv staked, but no pob or archon and neglible neoxian. And vyb doesn't allow downvoting.
So offgridlife should tag with pob, vyb, archon and neoxian and some of the 82 people who gave him an upvote should be able to deliver some coins.
