Again a long day and I am frankly agitated because I had enough of the memocash which constantly falling out of the key. This means that a website is frequently unavailable for any sort of activity. This also includes memberapp, another frontend for memo protocol.
HIVE dBuzz never died on me, and it is a fine microblogging website, but there is a certain limit on it ... I am constantly in a manic mode so I don't think I can wait another 5 minutes to make another short status on it, and comments are just not it. Also, the limit is similar to Twitter, so it doesn't really take much.
Another micro that I am frequently using is Noise.Cash. That one is unlike decentralized memo and governed dBuzz, completely centralized and users have to watch what they are saying. You can loose an account, but unlike on Twitter that will straight drop you like a bag of rotten potatoes, actually you can get admin to talk. And unlike Twitter you can get a reward for your moaning.
Anyways, microblogs became a real pain for me to have any sort of a discussion. There are also other networks - FloteApp, Mastodon, Gab, Gettr, Minds - all federated or centralized. Recently, aside of Flote and Gettr, I didn't even look at any of them.
I would suggest you to try either FloteApp or Gettr, bother have mobile apps ( Apple, Android), and if you did, tell me what you think of them.
I could try to host an experimental social media script, so if you have an idea what would be the best option and simple one too, I would love to hear about it.
Features should be fast, simple, easy to use, enough space per status and possibly a media upload, but doesn't need to have it. Script doesn't need to involve the blockchain.
