I mentioned that I will get a watch, and I had a question about what happened with that idea, so I will answer. Previously I received the suggestions for those modern watches, they all weigh a tone and I like small antediluvian things.
I bought two vintage timepieces under the symbolical sum.
This is also a very cool way how to make money by HODLING vintage stuff.
I acquired them as an idea for the concept I am working on, and maybe like a future investment in vintage assets.
For the sake of the argument I know shit about timepieces and the concept I planned to use them on is still unsuccessful.
Timepieces are ok, nothing harrowing happened to them. I don't plan to hit them with the hammer or melt them for the sake of some useless art. Creeps who do similar are legit retards with zero life. Also fuck art.
Timepieces are rare, but I don't think they really deserve much of the interest beside fun. So, for anyone interested, I will show them.
Both timepieces are roughly estimated, if I ever want to know a precise dates of each I will take them downtown for a professional assessment.
This one is called Darwil 17 Rubis (4006), it has an original stamp on a back, gold plated stainless steel ( possibly antimagnetic, not sure) and its age is estimated on late 50's. The watch band is not original, it is added recently and it is faux leather.
The another one is called Hallmark Swiss which was made by Waltham company, timepiece is estimated on 40's/50's and the watch band is not original, it is made by Speidel. Both timepiece and band are the gold plated stainless steel.
The last image are both watches compared to my thumb, and no my thumb is not big, the watches are small. In comparison to my thumb which is about 12 mm in diameter, they look like the doll toys.
I even had to use my other phone to get a clear image as my favorite phone which has been iPhone SE for a while doesn't have the ability to show fine details from up close.
I refuse to get a new iPhone, because I do not wish to carry a TV screen. Of course for somebody who has the paws size of the Godzilla's a new iPhone is a perfect fit.
And no, I do not pick the keys on my iPhone with a toothpick. I am using your wit, that is appropriately small enough...
The timepieces are so small I can barely see what the time is, but both are working and I wear the Hallmark. It is more practical, easier to wear as it has a stretchy watch band. It looks like a piece of jewelry more than a very accurate "time machine" lol.
