MotoGP 2022 is here again this weekend, at Misano. Will this race be a party for Ducati riders?
MotoGP has entered the 14th series which will be held at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Misano Adriatico, Sunday (4/9/2022) starting at 19.00 WIB.
With six series remaining, the competition is getting fiercer to catch Fabio Quartararo at the top of the standings. Currently Quartararo is still in the lead with 200 points, 32 points ahead of Aleix Espargaro in second and 44 points over Francesco Bagnaia in third.
However, Quartararo is prone to being shifted because in the last three races, he could only reach the second podium in Austria last week. Meanwhile, Bagnaia as the closest competitor is on fire through three consecutive wins.
Moreover, the Ducati motorcycle is indeed hot, not only the manufacturer, but also the satellite team. The proof was in the San Marino 2022 MotoGP qualifying session which was held on Saturday (3/9/2022) night WIB.
Jack Miller triumphed by taking pole position, followed by teammate Bagnaia in second and Gresini's Enea Bastianini. Marco Bezzecchi completes the triumph of Ducati in fourth position.
Aprilia's Maverick Vinales was fifth, followed by Pramac's Johann Zarco and Luca Marini of VR46 Ducati in seventh. Can you see how Ducati dominates?
Meanwhile, Quartararo is only in eighth position to start tonight and he will face a tough test to be able to shoot into pole position.
