Amanita muscaria is a poisonous mushroom that belongs to the division Basidiomycota. This mushroom has a variety of colors, ranging from bright red, orange, yellow, to white.
The beautiful Amanita plus a fly friend is spotted in the rotten forest. At first I thought it was an Amanita pantherina but on closer inspection I saw a beveled ring, a distinguishing feature of the Amanita excelsa, sometimes known as a fake panthercap A. Pantherina has a smooth ring. Or as some suggest A. rubescens is given a 'blush' under the ring.
