Street Vendors

When my friend and I came home from where one of our friends was selling pancong cake in one corner of the traditional market, we passed the main road in the small town where we live now. Along the way, we can see street vendors selling various types of food and drinks in their respective carts. The photo you see in this post is the condition of street vendors along the road when it rains.

For information along the way before the pandemic came good traders, with various types of food and drinks being traded there. Likewise with visitors almost every time on this road there is always a long traffic jam. However, for now the condition has much reduced and is no longer as busy as it used to be.

As we know, many of these street vendors have stopped selling because of the pandemic conditions that forced them to close their wares, partly because of the lack of visitors. Meanwhile, the capital issued by traders is far greater than the income they receive.

However, there were some of them who were still holding on and there was nothing more they could do. Family conditions forced them to do that, because the necessities of life were non-negotiable. Indeed, the condition of everyone since Covid came, many people have to change the way of life or habits they have been running.

Moreover, the current condition is the rainy season, the condition of the road is flooded with rainwater due to clogged drainage, perhaps because there is too much garbage. With the condition of the road being flooded with air, many people will not choose the road, of course, to pass. This of course has an impact on the traders themselves. Another thing that also has a bad impact is the condition of street vendors who are not neatly organized.
