Odd place & Actifit October 1 2024

It's an odd and strange place to find such an object, this is a funeral cross, and beneath it, there is a grave(possible, I'm not sure). It's strange because this area is not a cemetery, the land is not private, it is council-owned and very close to the river. What I’m thinking is that someone who died during World War II could be buried here... or maybe it's just a memorial sign/object to indicate that someone died here, and it’s not an actual grave. A random odd story, in a random odd place, Max doesn't care at all...:)))
