BooHoo! Whenever I see mascots or "characters in masks and costumes," the first thing I think about is the people inside. Those bulky, often awkward costumes, with oversized heads and masks, must be so uncomfortable . The heat, the discomfort, especially on a warm day—sounds like a claustrophobic experience! Sure, I get it if it's for kids' entertainment, but that’s not the case here. There’s a theatre festival in town, and these masked figures just wander around a park, performing outdated dances. I honestly don’t understand the point.
