Aerial top view of a so-called monastery. Although it looks like a tiny building there in the middle, I guess there are no size limits for a building to be called a monastery or not. The defensive walls are much more impressive than the inner buildings. For such places, defensive walls were a must to offer some kind of protection, mainly against Tatar raids which kept happening for around 300 years on these lands.
