This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
Some time ago a friend invited me to hunt insects in a remote village in North Aceh. And there I managed to photograph several species of insects even though I only got a few photos of some of the species that I managed to find at that location.
This is because besides the terrain which is a bit difficult, also because some of these insect species are quite wild, of course it made me a little difficult. The beautiful butterfly above is Acraea terpsicore, a small yellow-orange butterfly with black spots on its wings, which is a butterfly from the Nymphalidae family.
Then the small butterfly below is the Short-tailed blue, a butterfly that can also be found in this grassy area is a butterfly from the Lycaenidae family. And the size of this butterfly is smaller than the yellow-orange butterfly above.
Then there are two types of tortoise beetles, one of which is the golden tortoise beetle or Charidotella sexpunctata, then the other is part of the Cassidini tortoise beetle. Both are from the Chrysomelidae family.
Then there's the stink bug that I've never found before. Because usually stink bugs with a similar shape have a larger size than what I'm sharing. Also besides that, the color of this stink bug is more interesting than what I usually find. And here are some photos
