As we grow up, we start to gain more experience and knowledge about the world around us. We learn how things work, how people behave, and what society expects of us. However, in the process of gaining this knowledge, we often lose a certain level of innocence that we had as children.

When we are young, we see the world through a different lens. We believe in magic, fairy tales, and the goodness of people.

We trust others easily, and we don't understand the concept of greed or selfishness. As we grow up, we start to see the world in a more realistic light.

We realize that not everyone is kind or trustworthy, and that there are people who will take advantage of us if given the chance. We learn that life is not always fair and that bad things can happen to good people.

Our innocence dies as we become more aware of the harsh realities of life. We see the pain and suffering that exists in the world, and we may even experience it firsthand. We start to question our beliefs and our values, and we may struggle to reconcile our childhood ideals with the reality of the world.

However, it is important to remember that while our innocence may die, our compassion and empathy can still thrive. We may lose our naivete, but we can still choose to see the good in others and strive to make the world a better place.

As we grow older, we may become more jaded, but we can also become more resilient and determined to create positive change.

So, while it is true that as we grow up, our innocence dies, it is not necessarily a negative thing. It is a natural part of the process of maturing and gaining wisdom.

By embracing our new perspective and using our experiences to make a positive impact on the world, we can ensure that our loss of innocence is not in vain.
