Spiders use their nets as loudspeakers to enhance their hearing.

Spiders or their webs are both great masterpieces of nature and it is now known that a special spider's web helps them to 'hear'.

According to scientists, Orb Weaving Spider specializes in this work. They insert rows of strings into the loudspeaker to improve hearing. Spider webs are strong, flexible and light. Now an unusual discovery has revealed that a type of spider uses its web to hear.
Every string of this spider's web shakes with sound waves. This vibration turns the web into a microphone for the spider. Row Miles, an engineer at Binghamton University, says spiders sense sound from the vibrations of a thin wire and need to be studied.
Row Miles and his colleagues want to understand the whole system that will benefit us humans in the form of the best microphones, hearing aids and smartphone speakers of the future. For this, the experts made spider webs in a square frame in the laboratory.

The vibrations of the sound waves were then noted by attaching a laser vibrometer to the web cables. Scientists recorded sound vibrations at a total of 1,000 locations to see how sound affects spider webs and how sounds travel. He then noticed the spider's behavior, how it reacted to different sounds.

Although the experiment was difficult, scientists used rational methods. They placed the small speakers 5 cm away from the center of the spider web and 2 mm away from its edges. It should be noted that the spider likes to sit in the middle of the web. This meant that the speaker's voice was reaching the spider, through the air and through the nets themselves. Thus the sound of about 68 decibels reached the spider through the wire.

Out of a total of 12 spiders, 4 reacted to the sound of vibrations passing through the web. This is how spiders listen to the web. This is the secret that took scientists five years to unravel. Scientists also observed that when sound waves passed through a spider's web, the tiny animal spread its body for a while and crawled for a while so that it could feel the sound on its body.

But what is the use of it, firstly she knows her prey and secondly she protects herself from any danger.

2-Cleaning microplastics with water ... Bhindi made it easy!

Scientists say that some of the key ingredients in oysters can be very useful for cleaning microplastics.

Okra lace contains a lot of "sticky substances" called "polycrystals" which is why many people do not like to eat okra. But these substances also have an extraordinary ability to adhere to microplastics in water and separate them from water.

It should be noted that microplastics is a new name in global pollution and its potential harms are still being researched. However, environmentalists are still concerned about the recent increase in microplastics in our blood.
Cleaning microplastics with water is not an easy task. Some substances have come to our notice for this purpose so far, but all of them have potentially toxic effects.

Dr. Rajni Srinivasan of Tarleton State University of Texas and his colleagues were researching various plants in search of their harmless and natural alternatives, when they discovered the extraordinary potential of the polysaccharides in Bhindi.

Fenugreek and tamarind also contain polysaccharides, which are used in combination with okra-laced polysaccharides to improve the cleaning of microplastics with water.

Details of this research were presented at a recent meeting of the American Chemical Society "ACS Spring 2022".

The conference was held in San Diego from March 21 to March 24 and was attended by more than 2,000 chemists from around the world, either personally or via the Internet.

Explain that pieces of plastic that are 5 mm or less in size are called "microplastics".

There is no doubt that there are various smartphone projectors available in the market but in this regard Lucky London has introduced the world's cheapest projector which is very popular especially among children and teenagers.

This is called a project in which any phone can be placed and its 8 times larger display can be seen on the wall. It is very easy to design and use. No training is required to use it.
But according to the company, it is a very low-fi projector and does not show such clear video on the wall, but it can be included in the amateur invention. Despite all this, its design is very simple and beautiful.
The reason is that it consists of cardboard, tin and glass lenses but the company insists that it has not compromised on the quality of the lens.

On the other hand, the company insists that it can be used for lens strengthening and school experiments. It can also be given as a gift to young children.
