If there are groups of people who still raise the issue of right or left ideology, they have not studied history and do not want to understand the social conditions of Indonesian society. The failure of leftist ideology has been proven by the failure of the PKI rebellion in 1948 and 1965. The failure of rightist ideology has been demonstrated by the crushing of the DI/TII movement led by Kartosuwiryo.

If the majority of people support right or left movements, of course this country has become one of the two. Therefore the middle movement is more rational which accepts differences. The Pancasila ideology is an accommodation of something that smells of the right and the smell of the left but is wrapped in democracy and unity.
In my opinion, the Almighty God is a representation of right ideology, while social justice for all Indonesian people is a representation of left ideology. In the midst there is just and civilized humanity, Indonesian unity and a people led by wisdom in deliberation and representation.
So Pancasila is the unification of all ideologies. There are democracies, left and right. When these three elements can unite and synergize, they will become a new power that does not exist in other countries.
Western and European countries adhere more to liberal democracy, while Middle Eastern countries adhere to religion-based ideologies. There are many countries that have the three ideologies above separately, such as North Korea with its communists and Islam, the Taliban with its Islam, and America with its liberal democracy.
Pancasila democracy is a path that unites. Since 1945 this country has been established and experienced various trials. But the people live peacefully. This is the fruit of Pancasila. If there are groups who want to change the ideology of this country, they need to ask their goals. Do they work and think for the Indonesian people or for which people?
The ideology of the caliphate is very contradictory to Pancasila. Only a handful of elites will enjoy the implementation of the caliphate. Moreover, this movement is a transnational movement that has a leadership base in a particular country. Like it or not, this country will become subordinate to another country which is the center of the caliphate itself. If so, what is the meaning of independence fought for with the lives of heroes?
In conclusion, Indonesia will be at peace with Pancasila. Pancasila has represented both right and left ideologies. So let's maintain this peace on the earth of Pancasila.
