Yesterday I saw a video on Insta, where outside the United Nations in India, there are some banners put up, which says India needs Toilets, Need of Education in India, Stop Rapes in India, Stop Violence in India and what not. It was very sad to see my Country being represented in such a way, whereas the reality is something very different. Yes there are some bitter facts, but that's in every part of the world, which cannot be denied. India is a mix of everything. On one side there are sky scrappers and on the other side are slums. When India gets showcased on the world platform, only the slum side is showcased. The other side of the life is never showed. Majority of the western world people think that India is a poor country where almost every Indian is riding a bicycle, there is no electricity in the houses and there are no toilets, everyone is illiterate and that people do not speak good English. But when they actually travel to India, they see a complete different India. And yes, nowadays with the social media the face is changing as people are able to see the other part of India as well.
Till some years back, when some of my relatives who are settled abroad would come to visit, they would get some cheap things to distribute. They think that we do not get anything here and that we have never heard and seen these foreign products. The fact is that the Indians have a very strong buying power then most of the western world. There is extreme poverty and there is extreme richness as well.
That's a fact there there is huge disparity in the income. The economy is expanding but the benefits of it is only going to a few and not to every single Indian in the Country. These people who are already wealthy and have their huge business set ups, have not yet come to terms with equal income distribution. They believe in filling up their pockets, making people work on low wages and exploiting them and in turn all of this reflects on the economic condition of the country.
There is lot of corruption which one cannot shy off to speak about. The poor people are on low daily wages. The health sector does not support with enough initiatives to improve the health conditions at large for these people. In today's time medical treatment in India is the most expensive. There are Government hospitals, but the treatment is not up to the mark and hence even the low wage earners would not want to go there sometimes if they have complicated health issues. Life is difficult for these people, they end up taking loans, which sometimes they are unable to pay and then the load of debt kills them.
If there would be good distribution of income and resources probably India will get highlighted as one of the richest Countries in the world. There is enough for everyone, but it's not distributed equally to everyone. The poor people keep getting exploited in every way. Specially during Covid period of 2 years, all the low income people were the ones who got most impacted and their economic condition further went down from what they were. They lost their daily wage jobs, many lost their loved ones due to poor health facilities. When I travel around and hear stories of these people, it makes me feel sad and these people are still bearing the effects of those 2 years. We have all moved on with our normal lives, but there are so many whose lives have been devastated.
High inequality does pose a threat to the Country's prosperity and development and the Government should take actions, but the harsh reality is that these people in power are only concerned about filing up their pockets while they are in power.

They simply can not digest our success.
It's how media wants to portrait India to the world.
Let them be. They are full of hate & jealous.
This is the only thing that they have in their agenda, whereas we focus on work & success.
That's very true, the way we can reply back is with our success. The Britishers ruled India and still the western world wants to keep having a hold on us in some way and the only way to do that is by showing that we are the needy ones and we need their help.
I've questioned what we are told about many things, and have wondered if the news about everything isn't largely false, intended to create a false image for some over arching purpose. I am not surprised to learn the people of India are not as poor as we are told they are. It would be simple to portray the US similarly. And we can easily see that the reasons for poverty everywhere is the result of actions of the elite class, and the too-prevalent belief that a human being is powerless without the help of governments and rich people.
With no exaggeration, when people come to my city, they literally find it expensive and here we are living a full life, which says it all. True, the media keeps twisting the tales to the benefits of these few evil organizations. All these WHO, UN, IMF, World Bank, UNESCO, name it any one, they are all formed by a handful with the same intention and that's to control the world. The Tax systems are a way of looting people.
We live in a virtual reality... Every thing is branded and stereotyped... thank you for a kind window of sanity
Thank you. Reality of most of the Countries are far away from what media shows them
