Friends, a few days ago we went to Pushkar village in Rajasthan state of India. There is a desert and many types of life live in this desert. Due to lack of business in this area, people here become guides for this area, some people become artists for livelihood and some people become photographers here. We had come to this area for a walk and we enjoyed it a lot and also by paying some rupees we also got the photos clicked for custom change here so that we can remember it for the whole life.
In Kathiawadi or Rajasthani lifestyle, the man walks with a cap, shirt, dhoti and holding a stick in his hand and the woman here wears a choli, puts a veil of the same choli on her head and wears a lot of silver jewellery. Here men and women mostly wear matching clothes like red color or green color and both of their clothes have many Indian designs on them. We had done photography here for a long time and our photography was of the people here. By the way, I did not click these photos in any camera but in our mobile.
You must be seeing a lot of camels around us and Desert in the background. Here the Desert is spread far and wide. We cannot walk very far on foot here, hence we can roam around the entire Desert through camel. You might be able to see a lot of tents in our background. All these tents are like markets in this Desert. There is no water anywhere in this rural area and if we have to bring drinking water, we have to bring water from a far away well. Girls going to fill water with pitchers in their hands are often seen here and this is the lifestyle of the village. That's why we got photography done wearing this kind of dress.
