Population is an asset for a country. No country can be formed without a specific population. But when this population exceeds the quantity, those resources do not remain. And this overpopulation causes adverse reactions.
Population:
We are born and raised in some country in the world. We see that the lifestyle of everyone around us is different. Putting these people together, it becomes a number and that is the population. We need to think about the needs of this population and the impact of a larger population. When the population of a country is counted one by one, it is called the population of that country.
Additional population:
A certain amount of population becomes environmentally friendly for a particular place according to the government and natural environment. But when this particular population has uncertainty, it becomes an overpopulation. And this extra population has far-reaching implications for that country.
Reasons for overpopulation:
Let's talk about Bangladesh in particular. Bangladesh is a country with temperate climate. Due to these natural features, both men and women in Bangladesh have the ability to conceive or give birth at a younger age than in other countries. This is one of the reasons for population growth.
Child marriage is one of the major problems in this country which leads to overpopulation. For example, in this country, especially in the case of girls, child marriage is more common. And when a girl is married at a young age; In that case, it is normal for her to have children at an early age. And at this young age when the mother gives birth to a child on earth at a young age. Then it was seen that the mother broke down in a very physical way and it was seen that unfortunately she fell in the lap of death. And the young mother in this world may not have been able to give a clue as to her physical condition, which later shows that although she is raising the child, she is physically incapable of managing her family. As a result, the father of the family remarried. As a result, the newly married wife gives birth to a child again. Resulting in population growth. On the other hand, it is seen that the man who married this young girl may not realize the importance of education for the children of his family because he may not be well educated. And later it was seen that even his children could not become the wealth of the educated society of the country. And they don't realize the bad side of this population.
Besides, there are still some superstitions in our country. The family needs male children. When the daughter of a family is born, the mother who gives birth to the daughter of that family gets a lot of trouble. And it is seen in that family for this boy child that one by one the mother continues to give birth to the child. This is one of the reasons behind population growth.
Impact of additional population:
Excess of this population is not the cause of the country's resources. While the amount of land in our country is very small, it may be possible to produce food for 100 million people, but if the population reaches 200 million, it is natural to feel that there will be food shortages. Although the population is increasing day by day, the amount of land is not increasing. Regardless of the size of a country, the amount of agricultural or cultivable land remains small. Our country Bangladesh is naturally a major river country. And we know our Bangladesh is a country full of poverty. Those who have the money can use the technology properly but in most cases it is not possible to use the technology properly. As a result, the poor farmer who produces the crop is not changing much compared to others. The amount of crop production that this poor farmer who used to produce earlier to harvest at home has remained the same.
This time there is an important impact on this food where the government has to import food from abroad to meet the food needs of the population. Which requires a large financial support. And when these imported foods are purchased by the general public, it goes beyond its purchasing power.
In the case of vehicles, where earlier 20 people used to travel in one transport, the increase in population has resulted in 60 people traveling. And the vehicle was involved in an accident due to the extra load on this vehicle. As a result, many passengers lost their lives prematurely. He may have been the only earner in his family who died in the accident.
Ways to get rid of this situation:
First of all, people need to be aware of the need to reduce population growth. A certain amount of population is a must for a country. So keeping this in mind, according to the rules given by the Bangladesh government, two children in a family is enough. And these children need to be turned into a well-educated population with all kinds of facilities through educational institutions. When they are well educated, they will become the wealth of the country. And this educated society is of course aware of the population. And the current age of technology is the only way to use this technology properly through education. Officially, the people's union parishads and upazila parishads are allotted various technological facilities for the general public.
