Let me take some reading from the book of (JOHN 5:17) says, "But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”
Do you have faith? The kind of faith that can move a mountain?
The kind of faith that can raise the dead? Do you want a faith like David's that can kill a giant?
Do you have many giants in your life that you want to crush? Hebrews 11 is our main scripture reading for this lesson. Hebrew 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
After listing all the giants of faith in Hebrews 11, the Author wrote, “since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith” Hebrews 12:1-2.
The giants of faith are called witnesses; witnesses of what?
In John 5:17 Jesus said, my father is always working and so am I!
Why do we need to study the giants of faith?
They are witnesses to the teachings on faith and work with God. The study of the giants of faith will bless and strengthen your journey as a Christian to press forward with the prize in view.
These giants of faith are called the witnesses.
Witnesses that God is our father (John 5:17) and that Jesus is the son of God.
Jesus acknowledged that He cannot be His own witness, “If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true (John 5:31).
When we follow Jesus Christ, we have enough faith to face and overcome our giants. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. (Hebrews 12:2; John 16:33).
