Not a very good day for swimming.
These are ice caves formed by the crashing waves on the beach of Gitchee Gumee.
I’m not sure if any animals are hibernating in there. Maybe some giant black bears.
I don’t want to find out.
This is the view from on top of the caves.
The ice and snow is mixed with sand.
