Last week one of my friends inaugurated her new food joint. She and her family have been in this business for a very long time. It's their home business, catering to individual food requirements. They have tiffin service as well as individual order services also. All this time they have been doing it from home. Finally, they decided to get a place and open their food joint, which I believe is a very good idea for them to expand their business. It feels good when your home business reaches to a next level and from where you have a good scope of growth.
She is a good friend, so I went for the inauguration of their place. That's her son who is overjoyed with their new opening. We did a small good luck ceremony and then the ribbon was cut to officially announce the opening of the place. The business has started now, they are picking up gradually by the day and I am sure they will do well.
I am always in support of home businesses then buying from fancy restaurants and supermarkets. Whatever products I can buy from any reliable home source I go for it. When you order food from restaurants, they have end number of taxes and you end up paying almost double the amount of your actual food bill. Whereas when you order from small time home businesses, then you will not have those 10 types of different taxes and you only pay for the food you are ordering. That goes for all the other items also and just not for food. Yes, but then home businesses have their own limitations as well. They are on limited scale and you do not get much of variety to look at.
Anyways it's always good to support them for whatever is possible.
