Little setbacks

in home •  7 months ago

Yesterday I was at my new home site to check on the progress of my ongoing home project and while everything has been happening very well there are some small things which need changes and re-work. I feel that when you take up such a big project these things are bound to happen, but then it upsets me also, looking at the way how some of these people work so mindlessly. When I give them contracts to do their jobs, I understand that they are professional in their fields and yet when they do the work for me and I have to point out their mistakes is sheer lack of professionalism.

There are many things which needs rework like the alignment of some of the doors, finishing in the paint work, some fixtures not set properly. All of these are little things, but then I do not understand that why it cannot be done right in the first place. I visited my home site after 2 months, because I was not in town and I felt very disappointed with some of the things. I have appointed a supervisor and even he did not notice all of these things, which are actually so visible. After a long time I lost my temper on all of these people to be working so clumsily and not paying attention the finishing part.

Now I will be away for 15 days and I have asked all the people in-charge to make corrections and get things ready by the time I return back. I hope they will do a good job this time and I do not have to be worried any more. As things are getting towards completion, I am getting more and more anxious thinking of the final outcome. It's been a lot of effort in every way making up my home and I do not wish to make it look messy in anyway because of people not doing their job right.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
